As we continue our journey of tearing down walls and building bridges in Central Illinois, we take the time to reflect upon our history as The Heritage Ensemble – how we began, what has sustained us, a continuing commitment to our mission statement, and community support.  All of these things prompt the music that we perform. The beautiful melodies that we share with you have served as the staple in performances by The Heritage Ensemble.  Whether we were performing in many venues in Peoria, in Iowa, at Carnegie Hall, or in Paris, Texas, the birth place of our artistic director, we have performed with dignity and pride, these simple yet complex melodies that have with stood the test of time.
